Job summary

Management Performance Associates is seeking a Career Associate Attorney for our Consumer Financial Services Practice Group. The position combines hybrid work with national-scale matters involving leading financial institutions and service providers in complex disputes.

The ideal candidate has a JD from a top-tier law school, 5–10 years of substantive litigation experience, and active bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction. Prior FCRA/FDCPA/TCPA defense experience is highly advantageous.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction, in good standing.
• 5–10 years of substantive litigation experience.
• Experience with commercial litigation and representation of financial institutions is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently handle a broad range of consumer financial services litigation, including commercial disputes and matters involving federal and state consumer protection laws.
• Participate in hearings, depositions, motions practice, and other proceedings across state and federal courts.
• Provide legal advice and regulatory guidance, communicate case strategy and developments, and support clients responding to government and agency investigations.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery responses, and related litigation documents.
• Work closely with senior attorneys and partners on high-impact matters within a collaborative, nationally coordinated team.
