Job summary

Kingfisher Recruiting is seeking a Career Associate Attorney for a premier AmLaw 100 firm’s Consumer Financial Services Practice Group. Hybrid work, multiple locations nationwide, and a high-performing litigation team serve financial institutions and service providers in complex disputes.

Ideal candidates have a JD from a top-tier law school, active bar admission, and 5–10 years of substantive litigation experience, especially in commercial matters for financial institutions.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction in good standing.
• 5–10 years of substantive litigation experience.
• Experience with commercial litigation and representation of financial institutions preferred.
• Background defending matters under FCRA/FDCPA/TCPA advantageous.
• Ability to independently manage cases, lead projects, and supervise juniors.
• Strong writing, analytical, and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Independently handle a broad range of consumer financial services litigation.
• Participate in hearings, depositions, motions practice, and other proceedings.
• Provide legal and regulatory guidance, and communicate case strategy.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery responses, and related documents.
• Work with senior attorneys and partners on high‑impact matters within a national team.
