Job summary

Wade Trim in Taylor, MI is seeking a Construction Project Manager to join our Construction Team. Requires a high school diploma, a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field, with at least ten years’ experience; GLWA experience preferred. PE preferred, not required.

The role involves liaison with clients and stakeholders, field site visits, and managing scope, schedule, and budget to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• PE certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison with client and stakeholders.
• Maintain excellent client relations.
• Conduct field site visits.
• Coordinate with contractors on construction activity.
• Mentor junior staff.
• Develop project proposals including positioning, approach, pricing.
• Manage scope, schedule and budget for projects.
• Deliver projects on time and under budget while meeting client expectations.
• Coordinate engineering and administration with designers.
• Ensure employees have knowledge and tools to complete tasks.
• Generate additional sales through business development activities.
• Lead QA/QC review meetings.
• Assist with project reports and presentations.
• Attend client, staff and project meetings.
• Estimate fees and review plans and specs.
