Our client, a prominent AmLaw 200 law firm, seeks a motivated mid-level Associate Attorney to join its Construction Litigation Practice in Tampa. Hybrid role in Orlando with opportunities to handle high-stakes disputes and collaborate with experienced partners.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of concrete construction litigation experience, strong drafting and discovery skills, and a top-tier JD with Florida bar admission in good standing.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
• Active Bar Admission in Florida, in good standing
• 5–7 years of substantive construction litigation experience with a focus on personal injury matters
• Experience drafting pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda
• Experience handling discovery processes and depositions
• Excellent legal writing and analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities with a client-service mindset
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in construction litigation matters, including contract disputes, defect claims, and delay-related litigation
• Draft sophisticated litigation-related documents with precision and strategic insight
• Manage discovery, including document review, depositions, and expert witness coordination
• Conduct legal research and case analysis to develop effective litigation strategies
• Work closely with partners and senior attorneys on case strategy and trial preparation
