Our client, a prominent AmLaw 200 law firm in Tampa, is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join its Construction Litigation Practice. This hybrid Tampa-based role offers mid-level attorneys the chance to handle meaningful construction disputes and gain hands-on experience in a collaborative, client-focused environment.

Ideal candidates will have a JD from a top-tier law school, active Florida bar admission, and 4–5 years of substantive litigation experience with construction focus.

Qualifikationen

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
• Active Bar Admission in Florida, in good standing
• 4–5 years of substantive general litigation experience, with a focus on construction litigation
• Experience drafting pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda
• Experience handling discovery processes and depositions
• Excellent legal writing and analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with a client-service mindset
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team

Aufgaben

• Represent clients in construction litigation matters, including contract disputes, defect claims, and delay-related litigation
• Draft sophisticated litigation-related documents with precision and strategic insight
• Manage discovery, including document review, depositions, and expert witness coordination
• Conduct legal research and case analysis to develop effective litigation strategies
• Work closely with partners and senior attorneys on case strategy and trial preparation
