Arup is seeking a Construction Administration & Controls Engineer for our West Geography office, with a hybrid role in Los Angeles. You will support CA and building controls, gaining exposure to high-performance systems and complex multidisciplinary projects.

The role emphasizes coordination, communication, and integration across design, field, and client stakeholders. The position expects a minimum of 4 years in related fields, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years in construction administration, controls engineering, or commissioning.
• Strong communication and multidisciplinary teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support project-specific controls design activities.
• Assist with building control diagrams for HVAC, lighting, and plumbing.
• Provide measurement and verification and support commissioning.
• Contribute to advanced control strategies for high performance buildings.
• Facilitate RFI responses, submittals, field reports, and inspections.
• Engage with BIM and digital delivery processes.
