Job summary

O’Hagan Meyer is a national law firm focused on insurance defense and complex litigation seeking an experienced Manager to oversee conflicts-of-interest, new-client intake, and engagement-letter compliance.

The hybrid position requires in-office work for the first 90 days and at least three days per week in the office thereafter, with remote work days allowed per policy. A minimum of 5 years in a law firm is required, preferably in insurance defense or litigation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of law firm experience.
• Experience in conflicts management, client intake, or engagement-letter administration.
• Experience in insurance defense or litigation-focused firms is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee conflicts searches, analysis, documentation, and resolution for prospective clients and matters.
• Ensure conflicts are reviewed and cleared before representation begins.
• Own end-to-end intake process from submission to matter setup, with standardized procedures.
• Monitor engagement letter policies and ensure letters are issued and tracked.
• Develop firmwide policies, lead conflicts and intake staff, and report on metrics.
