Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience developing and applying advanced digital workflows in the AEC industry.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural Engineering.
• Understanding of BIM as a process and concepts of parametric modeling, computational design, and interoperability.
• Expert knowledge of Rhinoceros and Grasshopper.
• Experience using Revit with project teams in professional settings.
• Ability to communicate visually with data visualizations, diagrams, and 3D renderings.
• Capability of learning new software and techniques quickly.
• Candidates must be proactive, organized, have excellent written and verbal communication, and be client-service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and deploying digital workflows via code and visual scripting.
• Assist in developing BIMs and model-related deliverables.
• Develop, communicate, and maintain scripting and modeling standards across Structural Engineering teams.
• Maintain online documentation of latest digital practices across the firm.
• Assist in training staff on new digital tools and standards on projects.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in project delivery related to technology and data-driven processes.
• Develop visuals to communicate with clients and project teams to inform design decisions.
• Research and evaluate emerging technologies for project applications.
