Job summary

Philadelphia Insurance Companies is expanding our Compliance team with nationwide consideration for a Compliance Manager - Product Development. This role oversees end-to-end product development across Property, General Liability, Auto, Inland Marine, Crime, Farm and Professional Liability, driving regulatory alignment and market competitiveness.

The position requires leadership of staff, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and ensuring products meet regulatory standards while meeting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent of 10 years of P&C product development experience.
• Five years’ Commercial and Professional Underwriting Experience, or strong understanding of P&C insurance products, underwriting principles and market trends.
• Management experience is required.
• Knowledge of ISO forms, rates and rules, including bureau filings, adoption activities, and system development.
• Familiarity with and ability to interpret rules and regulations outlined in compliance and commercial lines bulletins.

Responsibilities

• Works with functional leaders in Actuarial, IT, Stat, Underwriting and Claims throughout the product development cycle.
• Responsible for the end-to-end product development process including the execution and implementation of product enhancements and new products/programs.
• Prioritizes Product Development projects.
• Manages the product development staff by assigning projects and overseeing work efforts.
• Coordinates with other functional areas of the Compliance Department on regulatory matters that impact company independent forms and rules.
• Develops the talent and expertise of the product development specialists.
• Ensures products meet regulatory requirements and adhere to internal company standards.
