Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota is hiring a Principal Compliance Improvement Consultant in Eagan, MN. This role strengthens the organization's compliance and risk management framework by driving the development, execution, and oversight of Corrective Action Plans (CAPs).

By closely collaborating with business and compliance subject matter experts, you will help ensure corrective actions are effective, sustainable, and aligned with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of related compliance & regulatory affairs professional experience.
• Bachelor's degree; in lieu of a degree, an additional two years of relevant experience beyond the qualifications listed above may be accepted.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to develop, implement, and oversee CAPs that address compliance and regulatory risks.
• Lead root cause analysis, impact assessments, and process evaluations to identify sustainable solutions and drive lasting operational improvements.
• Manage corrective action plan execution by tracking progress, monitoring milestones, and escalating risks or barriers as needed.
• Facilitate enterprise governance activities by preparing materials, providing updates, and supporting discussions for the Enterprise Ethics and Compliance corrective action plan committee.
• Consult with business partners to translate complex regulatory and compliance requirements into practical, actionable processes that strengthen risk management and compliance effectiveness.
