Job summary

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota is seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead Utilization Management products in Eagan, Minnesota. This senior role steers the product strategy and lifecycle while aligning with compliance, operations, and clinical teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.

You will guide Product Owners, drive roadmaps, and foster a collaborative culture that balances strategic priorities with execution.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of project/program management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree; in lieu of a degree, an additional two years of relevant experience may be accepted.
• Experience with Utilization Management (UM) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) preferred.
• Direct people leadership experience and ability to drive cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Co-lead the product strategy and roadmap for Utilization Management products and capabilities.
• Provide leadership to Product Owners and cross-functional teams.
• Drive product lifecycle management, performance monitoring, and opportunities for innovation.
• Partner with stakeholders across compliance, operations, clinical, and business teams.
• Ensure governance across UM foundations, payments, and compliance initiatives.
