Job summary

CNA Insurance seeks Complex Claims Consultants to support Allied Healthcare Providers, Facilities, Aging Services and Dental Malpractice. You will lead investigations of highly complex claims, review coverages, and collaborate with Underwriting to share insights for better underwriting decisions.

The role offers a flexible, hybrid schedule with opportunities to mentor others and work across multiple state jurisdictions. A strong background in commercial insurance claims is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and six years of relevant claims experience.
• Must have or be able to obtain and maintain an Insurance Adjuster License within 90 days where applicable.
• Professional designations (e.g., CPCU) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and manage highly complex commercial claims across multiple states.
• Coordinate discovery and work with defense counsel on litigation strategy.
• Review coverage, estimate reserves, and determine liability and damages.
• Negotiate complex settlements and authorize payments within authority.
• Mentor and train less experienced Claim Professionals.
