Job summary

Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH) is seeking a Compensation Analyst to join our HR Compensation team. The analyst will conduct firm-wide compensation analysis, reporting, and metrics, supporting initiatives directed by the VP of Compensation.

We require strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, financial numeracy, and the ability to work independently in a hybrid environment. This role can be based in Boston or NYC, with a minimum three days in the office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 2-3+ years of experience in compensation required; with the financial services industry preferred.
• Advanced knowledge and application of Excel (pivot tables, v-look ups, graphs, scenario modeling).
• Advanced Knowledge of PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Year-end reporting for Senior Executive Committee presentations.
• Prepare Senior Executive Committee materials with Comp Programs Manager.
• Ensure accuracy of source data for year-end compensation system.
• Conduct year-end analytics and reporting.
• Maintain year-end compensation system and HR Portal compensation pages.
• Manage BBH promotion program data and recommendations.
• Create compensation increase recommendations using guidelines.
• Analyze data and prepare visuals of findings.
• Lead process enhancement reviews.
• Create reports to support compensation initiatives for Senior Executive meetings.
• Assist with ad hoc analyses for firm-wide initiatives.
