Job summary

Autism Delaware is seeking a Community Engagement Coordinator in Newark, DE. This full-time, hourly non-exempt role offers a hybrid work arrangement and focuses on expanding community involvement through robust volunteer programs and event support.

The position reports to the Development Director within the Development Department and requires strong communications, organization, and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Understand and promote the agency’s mission and treatment philosophy.
• Advance the mission and strategic goals through volunteer management.
• Recruit, cultivate and maintain relationships with volunteers and partners.
• Coordinate major fundraising events and external fundraisers.
• Develop and maintain a volunteer management system and guidelines.
• Cultivate corporate volunteer partnerships and create stewardship touchpoints.
• Grow programs like Community Ambassador and event-based communications.
• Coordinate program calendar and tabling opportunities.
• Represent the agency at external events and across departments.
• Maintain reporting accuracy and timeliness.
