Cincinnati Development Fund in Cincinnati, OH is hiring a Loan Officer / Relationship Manager to lead the CRE lending process, originate and underwrite loans, and serve as the primary liaison with borrowers from lead generation through closing.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, collaboration with internal teams, and commitment to community development finance, including housing-related lending.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years in community development or CRE finance.
• Experience with affordable housing, tax credits, and mission‑driven lending preferred.
• Ability to analyze financial statements and apply underwriting criteria and risk profiles.
• Proven ability to build relationships with borrowers, developers, and partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial real estate lending process from origination to closing.
• Serve as main point of contact for borrowers and guide projects through the lending cycle.
• Prepare loan packages and present to Loan Committee and Board.
• Collaborate with Credit staff during underwriting and structuring.
• Support construction loan disbursements and conversion to permanent financing.
• Monitor portfolios and assist with troubled loans as needed.
• Develop new relationships and participate in community/business events.
