The intern will create, edit, and distribute content for the company’s online newsletter and social media channels while helping strengthen the firm’s digital presence and thought leadership.

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate or graduate student, or recent graduate.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Familiarity with major social media platforms and content best practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines independently.
• Interest in communications, public affairs, public policy, government affairs, media, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Newsletter Content
• Edit and proofread articles, updates, and announcements for the company's online newsletter
• Assist in researching topics, drafting content, and developing newsletter features
• Format and prepare content for publication
• Monitor newsletter performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement
• Content Development
• Repurpose newsletter and long-form content into social media posts and other digital assets
• Support the creation of thought leadership content, blog posts, and company updates
• Monitor engagement and help identify relevant trends and opportunities for audience growth
• Assist with basic graphic design, video editing, and multimedia content production as needed
• Conduct research on industry trends, communications best practices, and relevant news topics
