Job summary

EdTrust, based in Washington, DC, invites a Digital Intern to join the Communications team for Fall/Winter 2026. The role supports social media, the website, and e-newsletters with content planning, creation, and scheduling.

The intern must reside in DC, Maryland, or Virginia, commit to 25 hours/week for under 6 months, and report to the Editorial Director. Office presence is required two days per week.

Qualifications

  • Experience creating social media content across platforms.
  • Some graphics experience (Adobe/Canva).
  • Basic video editing capabilities.
  • CMS experience with web, email, and social platforms.

  • Problem-solving and openness to feedback.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, and create social media calendar and content.
  • Help manage media lists and track media placements.
  • Help tag and prepare content for website publishing.
