Competenze

• Bachelor’s Degree required in journalism, communications, marketing, political science, environmental studies or other relevant areas of focus.
• 1-2 years of professional experience with public relations, brand management, writing, editing, campaign organizing and/or advocacy preferred.
• Excellent English writing, spelling and grammar with online communications skills.

Mansioni

• Support Senior Communications Manager in developing annual communications work plans for Audubon’s South Carolina team.
• Serve as primary implementer of day-to-day communications and broaden Audubon’s visibility and reach.
• Gather stories of conservation and policy work; produce newsletters, blogs, social content and promote materials.
• Produce and manage video and photo coverage for programs when appropriate.
• Assist in securing local earned media for Audubon initiatives in SC.
• Manage media lists and reporters relationships; support outreach campaigns and events.
• Track metrics across channels and present regular performance reports.
