Job summary

IMEG Corp in Columbus, OH is hiring a Commissioning Project Authority to lead commissioning on moderate size building projects and support larger ones. You will develop commissioning plans, manage documentation in Cx Alloy, conduct design reviews, supervise testing, and mentor junior staff while coordinating with owners, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5–6 years commissioning experience; 9–10 years in design/MEP consulting optional.
• Strong communication and client-facing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support multiple commissioning projects with client interface and team coordination.
• Support construction and renovation commissioning in collaboration with senior staff.
• Perform commissioning reviews of documents and equipment submittals.
• Develop commissioning plans, reports, checklists, and test procedures.
• Complete project management documentation in Cx Alloy.
• Lead functional testing with contractors and owners.
• Track issues to closeout and support post-occupancy follow-up.
