Job summary

IMEG Corporation in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Senior Commissioning Authority to lead commissioning for diverse building types, support retro-commissioning and energy assessments, and mentor junior staff. You will manage planning, documentation, design reviews and field testing, collaborating with owners, contractors and design teams.

Responsibilities include project governance, technical analysis of building operation and controls, and contributing to process improvements.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) is required.
• 7–8 years of commissioning or MEP consulting experience preferred, or 11–12 years in related design consulting.
• Experience with building automation and control systems; knowledge of ASHRAE and relevant codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple commissioning projects with client interface and team coordination.
• Develop commissioning plans, specs, and project documentation.
• Review design and construction documents; perform field observations and testing.
• Lead meetings; communicate with stakeholders and manage issues.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to process improvements.
• Coordinate and perform functional testing and report findings.
