Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Commissioning Project Manager to lead commissioning across utility-scale solar, BESS, SCADA, and substations nationwide. Role requires coordinating with project teams, owner managers, and field staff to ensure on-time, safe, and compliant commissioning and turnover.

Hybrid work with on-site requirements at job sites is expected as projects progress. Strong emphasis on planning, documentation, and witness management to meet contractual requirements.

Qualifications

• This role requires a minimum of 5 years' progressive experience in commissioning, startup, testing, or project delivery for utility-scale electrical facilities.
• Experience leading cross-functional field teams and coordinating multiple concurrent projects is essential.
• Ability to translate contract requirements and interconnection deliverables into actionable commissioning scopes.

Responsibilities

• Own HV or BESS commissioning scope across 2–3 concurrent projects with deliverables, milestones, schedule, resources, and risk management.
• Develop and maintain a project-specific commissioning execution plan and readiness criteria.
• Lead readiness reviews ensuring safety, quality, and completion of prerequisites before energization.
• Coordinate field teams, OEM advisors, and testers; manage witness conditions and reporting.
• Oversee pre-commissioning, cold, warm, and hot commissioning activities; perform testing and acceptance.
• Maintain documentation, turnover packages, and closeout with owners and operations.
