AssuranceAmerica in Atlanta, GA seeks a customer-oriented professional to manage inbound calls from insureds and agents, handle billing questions, endorsements, and document requests. The role emphasizes agency relationships, policy retention, and education.

Full-time, hybrid (2 days in office/3 days remote), with responsibilities across underwriting support, compliance, and service levels in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Risk Management/Insurance, Business, or related field.
• 1 year or less experience in commercial auto (non-standard) underwriting or related P&C roles; knowledge of underwriting principles.
• Experience in retail agency space is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Monitor suspense and documents uploaded by agents; ensure timely processing of non-monied endorsements.
• Provide professional phone support for complex billing inquiries with clear explanations and resolution.
• Build and maintain agency relationships to support policy retention; track payments and document actions.
• Send policy memos that communicate underwriting requirements and timelines.
• Participate in round-robin phone and chat queues to assist bilingual agents and insureds per guidelines.
• Collaborate with underwriting, product and sales to stay updated and share ideas and concerns.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory/statutory requirements.
• Meet productivity, service level, and quality assurance goals.
