Job summary
Top Echelon LLC’s Real Estate & Commercial Development Practice Group in Raleigh seeks an Associate Attorney or Counsel to handle sophisticated commercial real estate transactions nationwide, collaborating with a seasoned team serving developers, investors, lenders, borrowers, landlords, tenants, and business owners.
The successful candidate will handle acquisitions, development, financing, leasing and dispositions across asset classes, requiring a JD from a top-tier law school and an active bar
Qualifications
- JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
- Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction, in good standing.
- 3+ years of substantive commercial real estate experience in a sophisticated law firm setting.
Responsibilities
- Represent developers, investors, landlords, tenants, lenders, and borrowers in commercial real estate transactions.
- Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, easements, declarations, leases, and related documents.
- Manage acquisitions, dispositions, development, and real estate financing transactions from inception to closing.
- Oversee due diligence, including title and survey review.
- Structure and negotiate complex deal terms while mitigating risk.
- Coordinate with clients, lenders, title companies, consultants, and opposing counsel.
