Job summary

Canopius Group is seeking an Underwriter to evaluate and underwrite Commercial Programs through MGA partnerships. The ideal candidate will have 3-7 years of underwriting experience, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a general knowledge of various insurance classes.

This position offers a competitive salary of $100,000 - $140,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including hybrid working, healthcare coverage, and a 401k plan.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of commercial underwriting experience.
• General knowledge in multiple classes of underwriting.
• Ability to interpret guidelines for underwriting.

Responsibilities

• Review submissions to MGAs for policies outside authority levels.
• Comply with company policies and risk appetite.
• Conduct audits and further develop relationships with MGAs.
