Job summary

Orange County Mechanical Contractor is seeking a Commercial Plumbing Project Manager to lead preconstruction efforts, coordinate BIM, and manage multi-million dollar projects in Orange County, CA. This is a permanent role with a generous salary and benefits package as well as career-growth opportunities.

You will balance time between the office and job sites, build accurate estimates, and collaborate with owners, general contractors, and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial plumbing experience including schools and fire stations.
• Plan and Spec experience required; Design-Build and Negotiated projects a plus.
• Mid-Large project experience ranging from $2–$25 million (most between $8–$10M).
• Proficiency with Excel; familiarity with take-off, scheduling, and PDF editing software.
• Prior field experience as apprentice, journeyman, or foreman highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend preconstruction and BIM coordination meetings with owners and General Contractors
• Communicate with other sub-contractors, suppliers, on pricing
• Build accurate, winning estimates for new construction, as-builts, TI's, among other projects
• Communicate with Sr PM's, PE's, Detailers, and others internally as well as Superintendents and Foreman on the job site
• Balance time between office and job sites
