Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company in Columbus, OH seeks an Analyst for Commercial Loan Processing. This role supports mortgage funding, updates systems, and resolves payment discrepancies for Mezzanine and SOFR loans. Strong detail orientation and legal document interpretation are essential.
The position requires a bachelor’s degree in business/finance and about three years of related CRE experience. Work is primarily in-office with some remote days in a hybrid arrangement.
Qualifications
- Education: Undergraduate studies in business, finance, or related field.
- Experience: Three years of related experience in commercial real estate.
- Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: Ability to understand and interpret legal documents; strong written and verbal communication; computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint; high accuracy and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Reviews loan documents and performs due diligence for initial loan funding.
- Updates mortgage loan system with modifications and ongoing updates.
- Researches payment discrepancies with Operations/Servicers to resolve issues.
- Administers monthly payments for Mezzanine & SOFR loans.
- Follows up on Borrower and Servicer late charges.
- Prepares/validates loan payoff documentation and processes extra funds for disbursement.
- Coordinates imaging of loan documents and reviews legal binders for accuracy.
