Job summary

Elevations Credit Union, a member-owned nonprofit financial institution serving Colorado’s Front Range, seeks a Commercial Loan Coordinator to support a Commercial Loan Officer with loan origination, processing, and customer communication. You’ll work closely with internal departments to ensure a smooth loan lifecycle and exceptional member experience.

The role requires lending experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, or equivalent.
• Three (3)+ years of relevant financial lending experience.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word and Excel and other various PC applications.
• Ability to apply logical or critical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts,anticipate needs, and draw conclusions.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and multi-task.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with others in a clear, thorough, andtimely manner
• Competence with fair lending practices, regulations, and requirements.
• Demonstrate a high level of organization, ability to prioritize and multi-task with attention to detail and accuracy, manage multiple projects, demonstrate self-motivation and ability to follow through with tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provides critical loan origination support to the commercial lenderby answering telephone calls, responding to emails, requestingdocumentation, scheduling, and responding to other inquiries in atimely fashion.
• Facilitates open communication and loan document coordinationbetween Commercial Loan Officer, borrowers, internaldepartments (Credit Risk, Commercial Operations, Legal, Retail,etc.), outside vendors and others.
• Supports the Commercial Loan Officer from the initial applicationprocessing through closing and booking the loan, includingrenewals, extensions and modifications along with ongoingsupport for borrower needs.
• Compiles and reviews commercial loan requests by gatheringfinancial information and completing credit applications asneeded. Anticipates lender and operational needs and timelinesto ensure successful loan closings.
