Pernini Legal LLC in Hartford is seeking a junior Associate Attorney with commercial litigation experience to join our AmLaw 200 client’s Hartford office. Hybrid work arrangement.

You will handle matters in state and federal courts, draft pleadings and discovery, and support depositions and trial preparation while working closely with senior litigators in a collaborative, high-performance environment. We value client service, professionalism, and high-quality work product and offer mentorship

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in Connecticut in good standing.
• 1-3 years of substantive commercial litigation experience.
• Experience handling litigation matters in state and federal courts within a law firm setting.

Responsibilities

• Handle sophisticated commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts across Connecticut.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery materials and other litigation-related documents.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, and court proceedings as experience allows.
• Conduct legal research and support case strategy development.
• Support all phases of case management, including strategy development and trial preparation.
• Work closely with senior litigators on complex disputes with high-profile clients.
