Job summary

HUB International is seeking an Account Manager I, Commercial Lines, to support a book of insurance business across hybrid locations in OR and WA. The role involves servicing client needs, renewing policies, coordinating with underwriters, and preparing proposals with accuracy.

A P&C license and active CE credits are required, with HS diploma as a baseline. You will collaborate with Producers and Associate Account Managers, ensuring high satisfaction, effective communications, and data integrity

• Accurate data entry and records management.
• Clear written and oral communication with clients and partners.
• Excellent organization and proactive follow-up capabilities.
• Comfort working in a team and coordinating with colleagues.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook; internet navigation.
• EPIC AMS experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day client inquiries via phone/email about coverage, changes, payments, or cancellations.
• Lead renewal process: gather data, market, negotiate terms/pricing, generate renewal numbers with the Producer.
• Review quote documents to ensure insurance requirements are included.
• Maintain client relationships and ensure satisfaction.
• Coordinate with Associate Account Managers to balance workload.
• Engage with underwriters to negotiate coverage and maintain positive outcomes.
• Prepare proposals, bind coverage, and create client policy summaries and binders.
• Set up and maintain electronic client records; share coverage knowledge with the team.
