Job summary

Chittenden Group, a fourth-generation insurance firm in Naugatuck, Connecticut, is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to service and manage a book of commercial lines accounts.

You will handle client communications, nurture key relationships, process renewals, and ensure data is accurately tracked in our secure systems. The position offers hybrid remote work after an initial training period.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of commercial insurance servicing experience.
• Property and Casualty license required.
• AMS360 or similar agency management software experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Proficient MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Handle renewal submissions and maintain relationships with underwriters and staff.
• Manage day-to-day account transactions including additions/deletions of vehicles, property acquisitions, exposure changes, and coverage analysis.
• Provide clear coverage and billing information; assist with quotes and renewals.
• Prepare presentations for client meetings and address next steps with clients.
