Job summary

The Carlisle Group seeks a Commercial Lines Account Administrator/Account Manager in Harrisburg with hybrid schedule to service a designated group of clients, support Sales Executive and Account Executive Commercial, and handle policy changes and billing reviews.

The role centers on Property and Casualty, requiring strong customer service, documentation, and cross-sell capabilities. A two-year degree and 3–5 years of insurance experience are preferred, plus a P&C license.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent with insurance knowledge.
• 3–5 years of insurance experience and/or training.
• Must possess or obtain a Property & Casualty license.
• Continuing education as required by statutes.

Responsibilities

• Service a designated group of customers, manage and process policy changes and review billings.
• Provide quotes, proposals, and bind coverage according to insurer guidelines.
• Coordinate processing of documents with the Administrative Assistant.
• Provide support to Sales Executives and/or Account Executive Commercial to foster new-business opportunities and cross-sell.
• Review assigned policies to determine if additional coverages should be solicited prior to renewal.
• Conduct periodic service calls for designated customers.
• Document all conversations with customers and/or insurers relative to exposures and coverages.
• Refer to the agency’s Policy and Procedures Manual as needed.
