Carbon is seeking a Commercial Counsel in Sunnyvale, CA to partner with our global sales team and close deals while ensuring legal and IP protection. You will draft, negotiate, and refine complex agreements across hardware, software, services, and materials.

The role requires 5+ years of commercial legal experience, with preference for 2+ years in-house in the medical device space, and a JD or equivalent with CA eligibility. Strong cross-functional collaboration is essential.

Competenze

• 5+ years of legal experience with complex commercial transactions.
• Prefer 2+ years in-house experience with a medical device company.
• JD or equivalent law degree with CA license or In-House Counsel in CA.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills for diverse audiences.

Mansioni

• Draft and negotiate complex sales agreements covering hardware, software, subscriptions, services, and materials.
• Support vendor, consulting, resin supply, and joint development agreements.
• Protect patents, trade secrets, and proprietary technology in commercial agreements.
• Assist with litigation support and compliance training.
• Review marketing materials and claims substantiation.
• Assist international operations by cross-team collaboration.
