Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking a Construction Project Manager for commercial projects in Arlington Heights, IL. The role involves overseeing renovations, remodels, and ground-up work, coordinating with estimators, subcontractors, and clients from preconstruction to completion.

Office-based with travel 2–3 days per month; work-from-home one day per week after establishing presence. Base salary to 100k/year plus benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of project management experience in commercial construction.
• Experience with renovation, remodeling, or ground-up construction.
• Ability to interpret drawings and coordinate with architects/structural plans.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze construction drawings, blueprints, plans, specifications, contracts, and other project docs.
• Collaborate with Estimating during bidding and preconstruction.
• Develop scopes of work for subcontractors and various trades.
• Coordinate permitting requirements with project teams.
• Plan, schedule, coordinate, and manage projects from preconstruction through completion.
• Manage costs and evaluate impact of revisions and change orders.
• Coordinate subcontractors, clients, owners, site personnel, and internal teams.
• Maintain project documentation, schedules, contracts, and change orders.
