Gilder Search Group is seeking a Site Supervisor for banking industry construction in Arlington Heights, IL to oversee tenant improvements, renovations, and ground-up projects. This role requires supervising crews, coordinating field activities, and maintaining schedules in occupied spaces.

Travel is required, including out-of-state assignments with per diem and travel expenses covered. The position offers a base salary between 80k and 95k, plus a company vehicle or reimbursement, benefits,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial carpentry experience
• Ground-up commercial construction experience required
• Supervision or coordination of subcontractors, trades, or crews
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret construction plans/drawings/specs
• Experience coordinating with Project Managers and trades
• Client-facing commercial construction experience required
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and bank holidays
• Willingness to travel, including out of state
• Ability to report to Arlington Heights office and project sites
• Must meet background and driving record requirements
• Basic computer/tablet proficiency

Responsabilités

• Track project workflow and ensure crews are prepared to perform scheduled work
• Coordinate delivery of materials, equipment, and site resources
• Supervise subcontractors and self-performing crews
• Monitor staffing to maintain schedules
• Coordinate field activities with Project Managers and subcontractors
• Communicate with clients and project stakeholders throughout construction
• Coordinate work in occupied spaces while maintaining requirements
• Work nonstandard hours as needed
• Document progress and project information in company database
• Monitor safety compliance on site
• Travel to project sites as required
