Job summary

Bottom Line in Boston, MA is seeking a College Access Advisor to support a caseload of 60-65 high school seniors using the LEAD model. You will help identify colleges, draft essays, complete applications, and guide financial aid decisions.

This in-person/hybrid role involves data entry, meetings, and collaboration with the program director. Successful candidates will have a bachelor’s degree, strong writing, and a commitment to the mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Excellent writing and editing skills.
• 1+ years of related work experience.
• Fluency in language other than English a plus.
• Valid driver’s license, with access to a car strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one advising to a caseload of 60-65 high school seniors.
• Lead data entry and progress tracking in the program database.
• Develop individualized college lists, essays, and application plans.
• Coach students on FAFSA and CSS Profile submissions and financial aid decisions.
• Coordinate meetings and communications with students, families, and partners.
