Job summary

Fragomen, an AmLaw 100 firm in Matawan, New Jersey, seeks a Collections Specialist to manage client accounts, secure payments, and support reporting. You will work with billing, finance and client service teams to meet collection targets and ensure accurate records.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance/business, at least three years in collections, and experience with Elite 3E or similar billing tools. This hybrid position offers a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business preferred.
• At least three years of relevant collections or credit control experience.
• Experience in a law firm or professional services environment preferred.
• Experience with multi-currency client accounts preferred.
• Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of client accounts and secure payment per terms.
• Build relationships with client contacts and AP teams to resolve issues.
• Investigate invoice and payment queries with internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate collection activities and maintain documentation.
• Provide collection forecasts and debtor analysis with updates.
• Escalate concerns and recommend payment arrangements or write-offs.
• Support global client accounts, collaborating across teams.
• Deliver high-quality customer service and maintain confidentiality.
