Job summary

ADT is seeking a Storage Platform Engineer to design, engineer, and operate enterprise storage across on-prem and cloud environments. Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support enterprise storage platforms across SAN, NAS, and HCI environments.
• Engineer and manage storage solutions including NetApp ONTAP, Isilon PowerScale, Unity, and HPE Alletra.
• Provision and manage storage resources including volumes, LUNs, shares, and file systems across multi-tenant environments.
• Configure and manage SAN environments including zoning, masking, and WWPN-based connectivity.
• Design and support storage connectivity models including Fibre Channel, iSCSI, DAS, and NVMe-based storage architectures.
• Manage and optimize storage performance, capacity, and availability across platforms.
• Lead storage-related activities for migrations, data center moves, and workload transitions.
• Work with server, virtualization, and application teams to align storage with compute needs.
• Implement backup, replication, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Perform RCA for storage and performance issues.
• Monitor storage systems and address capacity, performance, and reliability risks.
• Maintain storage documentation and runbooks.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise standards and baselines.
• Drive automation and standardization of storage tasks.
• Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation.
