Job summary

ADT is seeking a Storage Platform Engineer to design, engineer, and operate enterprise storage across on‑prem and cloud environments. You will work with SAN/NAS/HCI solutions, including NetApp, Dell Isilon, Dell Unity, and HPE Alletra, translating designs into reliable, scalable storage for enterprise workloads.

The ideal candidate is hands-on with storage protocols and provisioning, able to lead migrations, DR strategies, and automation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• 5 to 8+ years of experience in storage engineering or infrastructure engineering.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise SAN/NAS storage platforms.
• Strong experience with storage provisioning, zoning, and performance management.
• Experience supporting enterprise data center environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support enterprise storage platforms across SAN, NAS, and HCI environments.
• Engineer and manage storage solutions including NetApp, Dell Isilon, Dell Unity, and HPE Alletra.
• Provision and manage storage resources including volumes, LUNs, shares, and file systems across multi-tenant environments.
• Configure and manage SAN environments including zoning, masking, and WWPN-based connectivity.
• Design and support storage connectivity models including Fibre Channel, iSCSI, DAS, and NVMe-based architectures.
• Lead storage-related activities for migrations, data center moves, and workload transitions.
• Work with server, virtualization, and application teams to align storage with compute needs.
• Implement and maintain backup, replication, and DR strategies across platforms.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and RCA for storage and performance issues.
• Maintain storage documentation, runbooks, and SOPs.
