Job summary
Intel Foundry Automation - Government Programs is seeking a Cloud Application Software Development Engineer to design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications and microservices with strong focus on security and compliance. The role involves building scalable APIs, backend services, and validating through automated tests in hybrid environments.
The ideal candidate has 2+ years building Azure-based cloud solutions, 1+ years architecting and implementing cloud solutions, and familiarity with
Qualifications
- US Citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain a US Government Security Clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical / Computer Engineering, Math or in a STEM related field of study.
- 2+ years of direct experience in building cloud solutions on Azure.
- 1+ years of experience in architect, design, develop, and implementing cloud solutions.
- Experience with Azure database services (Azure SQL Database, Azure Database for MySQL/PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB).
- Experience in Web Services, micro-Services development, Data Architecture or Container technologies (Kubernetes, etc.)
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test cloud-native applications and microservices.
- Build scalable APIs and backend services
- Ensure security best practices across cloud environments
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
- Create and execute manual and automated test plans/suites
