Job summary
Intel is seeking a Software Development Engineer to design, develop, and test cloud-native applications and microservices for the Foundry Automation - Government Programs team. You will build scalable APIs and backend services, ensure security best practices across cloud environments, and troubleshoot production issues while creating robust test plans and suites.
Qualified candidates will have Azure experience, 2+ years in cloud solutions, and a degree in a STEM field.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Math or STEM field.
- 2+ years building cloud solutions on Azure.
- 1+ years architecting, designing, developing cloud solutions.
- Experience with Azure database services (Azure SQL, Cosmos DB).
- Experience in Web Services, micro-services, Data Architecture or container technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test cloud-native applications and microservices.
- Build scalable APIs and backend services.
- Ensure security best practices across cloud environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
- Create and execute manual and automated test plans/suites.
