Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to secure our cloud platforms and modern application environments. You will implement security controls across GCP and Azure, support IAM initiatives, and integrate security into CI/CD workflows.

The role requires hands-on cloud security experience and collaboration with engineering teams. The ideal candidate will work within a hybrid environment, applying zero-trust principles, encryption, and threat detection to protect workloads and data while

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in cloud security, cybersecurity, cloud engineering, DevSecOps, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) security services and concepts.
• Experience securing cloud workloads, identities, applications, and data services.
• Familiarity with cloud security monitoring, vulnerability management, and incident response processes.
• Understanding of IAM, encryption, logging, threat detection, vulnerability management, and secure deployment practices.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain cloud security controls across GCP and Azure environments.
• Design, deployment, and improvement of cloud security guardrails and configurations.
• Support IAM initiatives and zero-trust principles in the cloud.
• Secure cloud services, workloads, and data through hardening and reviews.
• Contribute to DevSecOps in CI/CD pipelines and secure deployment practices.
