Job summary

CAS in Columbus, Ohio is seeking an Enterprise Compute Platform Engineer to own and advance a highly available, secure compute platform across Windows Server, VMware, cloud, and automation ecosystems. This hybrid role combines platform architecture, AI-driven operations, and reliability engineering to deliver scalable infrastructure.

You will lead modernization, champion IaC and automation, integrate AI-powered tooling, and provide Tier 2/3 incident resolution and weekend rotations when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with relevant experience in compute/platform engineering.
• Strong understanding of Windows Server, VMware and AI/ML operations.

Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and improve a highly available, secure, scalable enterprise compute platform.
• Lead modernization, including hybrid cloud integration and IaC.
• Champion automation and build automation using PowerShell and other scripting languages.
