Job summary

WEC Energy Group is hiring an IT Cloud Server & Storage Platform Engineer to build and maintain cloud infrastructure across our Milwaukee/Pewaukee/Green Bay area locations. The role blends hands-on cloud administration with strategic IaC development in a hybrid work setting.

The Infrastructure Consultant family spans roles where experience matters most; 2+ years in IT infra, cloud familiarity, and production support are preferred. Compelling compensation is provided within a broad pay range.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required with 2+ years IT infrastructure experience.
• Experience with cloud platforms and enterprise infrastructure preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provision cloud-based virtual machines and storage resources.
• Manage backup and patching for cloud servers.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to orchestrate cloud resources.
• Maintain shared IaC modules and standards.
• Coordinate with on-prem teams to align infrastructure
• Participate in 24x7 on-call support on a rotating basis.
