Job summary

WEC Energy Group seeks an IT Cloud Web Application Platform Engineer to build and maintain cloud infrastructure across Milwaukee, Pewaukee, or Green Bay. The role supports a hybrid work arrangement with time split between remote work and on-site collaboration.

You will partner with development teams to deploy cloud-based apps and services, contributing to operational excellence and scalable enterprise solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• Azure and/or AWS development experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provision platform as a service and application-based services in the cloud.
• Collaborate with development teams for cloud-based hosting.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for managing and provisioning cloud resources.
• Maintain and govern library for IaC shared modules.
• Collaborate with on-premise infrastructure teams to align standards.
• Participate in incident response and root-cause analysis for cloud infra.
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call support role on a rotating basis.
