Job summary

Leviton is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to support reliable access to information and optimize business processes. The role focuses on maintaining hybrid cloud, on-premise infrastructure, and security best practices.

You will work from the Melville office and participate in an on-call rotation for critical outages. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree, 5+ years of Windows/Linux administration, VMware, and cloud experience with Oracle Cloud and SQL Server, plus ITIL/ITSM

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5 years of on-premise networking, server, storage and virtualization experience.
• 5 years of Windows and Linux server administration and troubleshooting experience.
• 5 years of Linux server administration including Ansible and patching activities.
• 5 years supporting CUPS print services.
• Proficiency in VMware vSphere, Cisco Meraki Networking and SD-WAN.
• Familiarity with Oracle Cloud, Microsoft SQL Server, and ITSM methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and upgrade site infrastructure including networking, wireless, virtualization, and backups.
• Plan and execute complex projects such as network/server upgrades and hybrid cloud architecture.
• Support Oracle Cloud and Microsoft Azure architecture; evaluate cloud solutions.
• Lead Office 365 migrations and disaster recovery activities.
• Manage Linux lifecycles, automation, and troubleshooting.
• Contribute to global infrastructure implementation and ongoing support.
