Job summary

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Administrator to lead the support, operation, and maintenance of IT Network infrastructure. You will optimize servers, storage, systems, and networks while driving innovation and reliability across the organization.

Key responsibilities include managing Azure and AWS environments, implementing robust security, mentoring the IT Infrastructure team, and ensuring compliant lifecycle management of all infrastructure

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years hands-on experience as a Network Engineer or 12 years progressive leadership.
• Extensive knowledge of enterprise-grade network security solutions (Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto).
• Experience designing and maintaining enterprise wireless networks across locations.
• Proficient in IT infrastructure monitoring and logging solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to interact with non-technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to work extended hours including nights.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement IT network infrastructure across servers, network equipment, and cloud solutions.
• Oversee Azure and AWS environments, inter-site data center interconnects.
• Monitor and audit IT environments; manage patching cycles and incident response.
• Lead network security management including firewall policies and access controls.
• Provide mentorship to IT Infrastructure team.
• Install, configure, test, and document network components per design specs.
• Adhere to IT infrastructure policies and lifecycle management.
