Job summary

The Center for Justice Innovation, based in Midtown Manhattan, seeks a skilled Infrastructure and Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and optimize hybrid and cloud-first solutions using Microsoft 365 and Azure. You will collaborate across teams to enhance performance, security, and automation while supporting organizational goals.

Reporting to the Infrastructure and Cloud Manager, you will manage and evolve infrastructure, implement automation, and ensure compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with 3–5 years managing infrastructure and cloud services within Microsoft 365.
Strong experience with hybrid IT environments (on-premises and cloud).
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Intune.
Experience with Azure services, including compute, storage, networking, security, and monitoring.
Proficient in Power Automate and PowerShell scripting.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement hybrid and cloud strategies aligned to Center’s goals.
Design and optimize Azure, Microsoft 365 environments for performance and security.
Manage Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, and Azure resources for efficiency.
Implement backup and recovery procedures.
Automate compliance reporting and auditing workflows.
Support collaboration platforms (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
Build API integrations between Microsoft 365, Azure, and third-party apps.
Collaborate with departments to identify automation opportunities.
