Job summary

Resource Innovations is seeking a Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in multiple U.S. cities including Phoenix, Salt Lake City, Fresno, Chicago, LA, or Denver.

You will manage Azure and 365 workloads, enforce identity and access controls, and optimize hybrid environments for reliability and user experience. The role focuses on deploying, securing, and operating cloud infrastructure with PowerShell automation, monitoring, and governance while collaborating

Qualifications

• Hands-on admin of Azure and Microsoft 365 production services.
• Experience with Azure compute/storage/networking and access controls.
• Experience with two or more Microsoft 365 workloads (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Apps).
• Familiar with Entra ID, RBAC, groups, and service principals.
• Strong knowledge of DNS, mail flow, hybrid connectivity, and security practices.
• PowerShell scripting and familiarity with Microsoft Graph desired.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and maintain Azure infrastructure across subscriptions and regions.
• Administer Azure VMs, storage, networking, backups, and hybrid connectivity.
• Monitor service health and alerting; maintain operational visibility.
• Apply policy, tagging, RBAC, Defender recommendations, and governance.
• Administer Microsoft 365 tenant settings, licensing, reporting, and escalations.
• Administer Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive capabilities.
• Coordinate 365 Apps administration, update channels, and endpoint management collaboration.
• Administer Entra integration including groups, roles, and identities.
• Use PowerShell and Graph for automation, reporting, and license management.
• Collaborate with security/compliance on Purview, Defender, DLP, and posture improvements.
• Troubleshoot incidents, document root cause, and assist on-call coverage.
