Job summary

PGTEK is seeking a Description Cloud Services Engineer (Morpheus) with an active Secret clearance for hybrid work and travel to DISA locations. You will design, deploy, automate, and support secure hybrid cloud infrastructure using Morpheus, VMware and SDN technologies.

The role requires 5+ years of enterprise cloud experience, hands-on Morpheus management, and a solid background in VMware vSphere. Expect collaboration with cybersecurity and program teams to meet DoD security requirements while

Qualifications

• 5+ years operating enterprise cloud, virtualization, or infrastructure environments.
• Hands-on Morpheus cloud management and orchestration experience.
• Strong VMware vSphere administration (ESXi, vCenter) expertise.
• Experience with DoD/Federal or other highly regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise cloud and virtualization platforms.
• Deploy, administer, and optimize VMware vSphere environments (ESXi, vCenter, HA, DRS, clusters).
• Provision and automate cloud resources using Morpheus.
• Support hybrid cloud environments spanning on‑premises and public cloud.
• Implement and maintain Software-Defined Networking (SDN) solutions.
• Configure and support Key Management Systems (KMS) and encryption services.
• Automate infrastructure deployments with PowerShell, PowerCLI, Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
• Perform infrastructure upgrades, patching, lifecycle management, and capacity planning.
• Troubleshoot complex virtualization, cloud, networking, and infrastructure issues.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and runbooks.
• Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, and program teams to deliver secure solutions.
• Ensure compliance with DoD security requirements (NIST, FISMA, FedRAMP).
