Job summary
AIR is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer specializing in Microsoft 365/Entra to manage and optimize our M365 and Entra ID tenants. You will focus on Exchange Online, identity, security, and collaboration services, driving automation and modern cloud practices.
The role offers hybrid work flexibility with three days per week in AIR’s Crystal City, Virginia office, plus travel for meetings and training. Reports to the Director of IT Infrastructure Operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline with extensive IT experience.
- At least 5 years hands-on administration of Microsoft 365 and Entra ID in mid- to large-enterprise.
- Exposure to Azure DevOps, GitHub, or similar pipelines for 365 configurations.
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online and related security features.
- Administer and harden Entra ID (Azure AD) with conditional access and RBAC.
- Own Exchange Online configuration: mail flow, transport rules, connectors, and hybrid setup.
- Develop automation and scripts to streamline administration and provisioning.
- Contribute to CI/CD and IaC practices for Microsoft 365 configurations.
